How it works
Three simple ideas keep listings honest: chat before numbers, a 15-day check, and Owner or Broker on every listing.
The board: 64 checks before you move
Every listing has a board of 64 squares, 8 rows of 8 checks: location, money, building, papers, safety, the visit, the society and moving in. Stays have a smaller board of 16. Tick each square as you check it. A few tick themselves when 64 Sqft already knows the answer, such as approved ownership papers or a WhatsApp-verified number.
When something looks off, the board says "Check!": a price far below similar homes, a request for token or advance money, a number from abroad, or an owner who joined this week. These are facts to look into, not accusations.
Finishing boards, getting a listing approved, approved ownership papers and completed stays earn points. Points move you up from Pawn to Knight, Bishop, Rook, Queen and King. They cannot be bought, have no cash value and never change the order of search results. When you buy your home, mark it on your account: a pawn that crosses the board becomes a queen.
Looking for a home
- Search by area or landmark. No login needed to browse.
- Check the locality page for resident ratings and typical rent.
- Log in with your mobile number to chat with the owner or broker.
- Share your number only when you are ready. Schedule the visit in chat.
Renting out or selling
- Post in five steps with at least four photos. It is free.
- Upload a property tax receipt or EB bill to earn the Verified badge. Only our admins see it.
- Our team checks new listings, usually within a few hours.
- On day 13 we remind you to confirm the home is still available. If you do not confirm by day 15, the listing leaves search. You can revive it within 30 days.
- Mark it rented or sold when you are done, so nobody keeps calling.
Brokers
Brokers are welcome. Their listings are always tagged Broker, and brokerage is shown upfront as None or an amount. A broker can have up to 25 active listings.
